I take issue with the industry calling this wifi calling though. It is not. A marketing gimmick by T-mobile. Even if it is free, it's not wifi calling. @Trevor Talbot: T-Mobile offers a $30/month 5GB/month data plan with 100 minutes of calling and a $3/month plan with 30 minutes of calling. These were the two plans I inquired extensively about. Does Moto G6 support WiFi calling on T-Mobile? I've seen posts about WiFi calling on Google Fi etc., but not on T-Mobile. Any info would be very useful. I am having the same problem. My calling works fine on wifi calling, but my text messaging does not. I uninstalled the wifi app and re-installed it, but the messaging still isn't working. I've also tried it on three different wifi systems, calling works, messaging doesn't. I'm using a 925. Doing this, the first popup I got said that the device will be updated with carrier specific settings. Then i went through the setup, and WiFi calling was there in the Phone app -> settings. On another device I went through the setup first and then popped in the Tmobile sim, and the same window about carrier settings never presented itself. Feb 12, 2019 · It seems for Wifi calling, it regularly checks against the IMEI, so that tends to only work for a few minutes, and will stop working again, even with the AT&T software if the phone's IMEI is not whitelisted.
May 06, 2019 · If any of the newer OnePlus had TMobile Wifi Calling, I would be placing my order today. I still have 2 OnePlus originals phones. We have not updated to a newer OnePlus because they do not yet support Wifi Calling. We need Wifi calling were we live. Also we travel to and from Europe and wifi calling will make our lives much easier.
